2. If you are answering the post which is right above yours there is no need to quote that post.
3. If you wish to address your post to different contributors please use the format:
@ nick_name1 - whatever you want to say...
@ nick_name2 - whatever you want to say and so on...
4. Use quotes ONLY when without them it is difficult for someone to understand the point of your post.
5. Keep your posts civil and respectful. Remember, that not all the contributors have a good understanding of English language.
6. Do not use rude words or foul language (for example: swear words, bad-descriptions)
7. Discussions about cracked licensed software or trading of serials and cracks are forbidden.
Users who want to do it, should do it outside xdaflameusers.com to keep our forum free from problems.
8. Links to any malware and spyware applications (causing soft-resets or hardresets) are forbidden and all posts
containing them will be automaticaly deleted without ANY warning.
9. Since XFU forum is NOT hosting the rom images, and gathers ONLY the knowledge of location and usage of the ROMs,
users are ALLOWED and encouraged, to post links to Windows Mobile rom images.
Contributors who use bad language or disrespectful comments will be dealt as follows:
a. Their posts may be censored or even deleted.
b. They will receive a public warning from one of the XFU team moderators.
c. If they persist on using unacceptable language, making inappropriate personal comments or insults, they will receive a warning e-mail from the team reminding them of our posting rules.
d. Should they continue to post in an unacceptable way, they will be banned from posting for a minimum of two weeks, after that time they will be allowed to return back to forum for a trial period of three months. If during that time they break the rules they will be BANNED FOR LIFE !
We needed to set this procedure in place, as the vast majority of our contributors make a genuine contribution to the improvement of our precious Flame. However, we have had some cases to concern over a few postings in recent weeks and we have decided to ensure that our forum will remain user and family friendly.
