O2 needs more informations to solve the problem about the "Battery life is to short".
Can you guys provide the Serial Number and P/N of your batteries that have the above problems.
If you have some problems about the bluetooth, please provide me the ROM Version, GSM Version, Ext. Rom Version with your issues.

Are you from O2?
I do not think it is battery problem.
The battery with very heavy usage do not normally last beyond 1 day.
Not so heavy usage, it could last around less than 2 days.
Beside setting to Automatic Power mode, the rest like Wi-Fi is off, Bluetooth is off, Infra-Red is off, backlight lowest, etc (all I can think off).
When I first used HTC Universal WM5 AKU1.0 ROM, it is something like this or bad battery life. WM5 AKU2.0 was equally bad. When I start using Cooked ROMs AKU3.3 & AKU3.5, it improves a lot. So not heavy usage with same battery could last around less than 4 days. Same AKU 3.5 improves further with also Radio Rom upgrade.
Bluetooth performance seems different on different bluetooth device.
I am using Nokia HS-12W, after pairing, it can be use. But after switching off PPC bluetooth, the next time you try to use the headset, with PPC bluetooth on, it does not pair again. You have to delete the Nokia HS-12W, repair to use it again.

I am one who has experienced lower-than-average battery life, even when "CPU Optimize" is set to "Automatic" or "Power-Saving".

my battery serial number is 713FS02768 and
wifi is always on, power optimize and wifi optimize, backlight 3/10,
and it last less than 3h30.

my battery serial number is 713FS02768 and
Are you sure that's not 718FS02768 ?

I'd love to give you my battery serial but I can't get my battery out of the device.
Offline
You don't need to remove the battery -- the serial number is visible on the battery when it is installed. Simply remove the back cover and you should be able to see it.
Offline
The battery is hard to remove because you must slide the red locking tab (#1; easy) and then press hard on the release tab towards the battery (#2; hard).
I wonder if your battery has S/N on bottom because it's different? If so maybe you can give manufacturer/part data as well. Mine is:
Model XP-08
Rating: 3.7V 1620 mAh Lithium Polymer

), maybe thats covering the battery S/N

Battery number 709FS01505. Takes forever to get from 0/1% to mid 30% range, then it picks up, but definitely the worst battery life I have experienced.

That's the opposite of how my Blue Angel battery worked -- it went up to 30% in no time, but took forever going from 99% to 100%.
Maybe with enough deep cycles going down to almost zero, and then going back up to 100%, the Flame will recalibrate and start behaving better. Mine took 3 weeks of charge-discharge cycles before it was even acceptable. It's still not great.
I had one 1-minute phone call today and no other PDA activity, and after 12 hours since the last full charge, my Flame's battery is down to 80% already.

I own the stereo bluetooth from O2 itself, even of the same brand name it shows problem. For a short duration suddenly my wireless headset no longer work. It will not pick up calls at all but the A2DP for music streaming work all the way.

While I realize that no one, so far, posted their IMEI number, I would suggest that you guys use the mail function to mail angus2002c or any one member of the XFU staff with the numbers.
I believe that this information can not be used to personally identify someone, but one should better be safe than sorry ![]()
Offline
We have not given the IMEI because the second time angus did not ask us to give this info.
It is better to keep them confidential until it was confirmed it is necessary and for what.
And I prefer to give the serial number of my Flame, I am sure that O2 can recover the IMEI from the serial number.
Offline
Yes, IMEI number is to identify is your device was a media testing device and is your device was using in the designed place. O2 said they have not confirmed the released date of next ROM (even is WM5 or WM6) until any problem fixed.
