Re: Please Help

I have experienced some delay, 1 to 2 secs but the device not waking up at all? Nope, thats new.

simple questions but its always good to check them:

1.) tried a soft reset?
2.) tried charging it fully and soft resetting?
3.) tried a soft reset with the device connected to a PC?

Re: Please Help

I've had the non waking up a couple times, most recently today. To turn on, I had to soft reset.  As mentioned this has only happened a couple of times since I got the Flame.  The last thing I remembered I did was conect it to my work computer and was unable to due to the fact that I don't have access to add new devices to our work network (security).  Was this the culprit? Don't know.

Re: Please Help

I have had twice today. It was more than 2 weeks without this issue (no wifi during holidays).

This time I had Gpsgate working with Garmin Que. Perhaps a problem related to them.

Another info, the Flame missed to wakeup alone due to appointment notification. Most of the others time it was due to a received sms.

Re: Please Help

I have experienced this problem from time to time. I simply leave the flame for about 10 minutes and then try again. This works for me.

Re: Please Help

I'm stil experiencing the problem.  After soft reset, there will be a notification error regarding wakeup.  I hope ROM upgrade can fixed this.

I don't remember it, but I think the error says "cannot activate nrdwakeup.exe".  But now it is not appearing anymore after the wakeup problem.

Re: Please Help

When you have this kind of problem. it is because you have bad entries in the notification database.

One way to solve that is to use sktods and remove them. Be careful to remove only those related to your problem.

Re: Please Help

Yes, I have already remove notification problems using MemMaid.  But problems on waking-up is still my main concern.

Re: Please Help

When you use Google to search for sktods, it comes up in 3 Flame forums, with you in all of them smile

I thought maybe it was a homemade tool smile

Re: Please Help

I've found that turning off with WiFi enabled increases the chances of not resuming afterwars without softreset.

Re: Please Help

All of us agree with you. But sometimes we have the problem, even if wifi is off.  But less often.

Re: Please Help

I had this same problem while having TextMaker running in the background.  Is it from third party software? I'm taking mental notes when this happens to me.

Re: Please Help

You are right. I had also without wifi but gpsgate and garmin Que running before sleeping, more than once.

Even if O2 do not want to hear any complaints concerning third party software, we can note situations that could create it also.

Re: Please Help

My wake up issue is only during incoming call. but its not often. only when the time that i leave too many running programs in background... it rings only like a second and gone completely dead... in my point of unprofessional view, i guess batteries cant support so much at one sudden time during waking up... But my problem is not as critical as most of you here. it scare me.....

Re: Please Help

I have a problem in waking up my flame from the time i bought it.... sad
When it is in a sleep mode, if I push the power button the screen is just white.
I have to push the power button again a few times before the Today screen appers.
But other than this, so far, I have no prob w/ my flame.
