For those of you using Garmin Mobile XT, how'd you get it working?

I have both the North American and Euro versions and both fail to run. Basically I run it from the start menu or the sd card and get same results, an hourglass which goes away after a few minutes but the app never opens.

I know both sd cards work as thy both run properly on my nokia e61i and my samsung blackjack 2 (after app unlocking it).

My flame is running the original WM5.

And you don't get the 'out of memory' issue on your flame?

I get it most of times...

I must confess that yes, but rarely. and I sadly inform you that , after one month using Igo8 on my new device Toshiba TG01, never showed this warning (Out of memory)

I'm curious about one thing in TG01. Does accelerometer work as screen orientation changer in all apps or just in some?
I'm wondering because some apps want to only work on one, particular screen orientation (like games).

It's a shame, but is a proprietary system and it only works on some Toshiba's aplications (self rotate, shake for going to Today...some demos) Useless for games based on HTC accelerometer, for instance.

Someone in MoDaCo is working in a "translator" to convert Toshiba's accelerometer signals in the standard inputs....

Well, in the absence of more comprehensive checks I have solved the problem of 'out of memory' with the following "debug" section on both (program files/igo8 and storage card/igo8) sys.txt:

[debug]
cache=2048
skip_eula=1
show_performance=0
reserve_memory=2500000
no_file_cache="0"
disable_outlookpoi=1

Since I have put this sys.txt I don't get the 'out of memory' anymore!!

I'm asking because of the UI for applications I'm designing.
There's a bug in the OS that prevents me from using semi-transparent backgrounds for forms.
If someone will change screen orientation during such transparent bg, it will catch every drawing on it's surface instead of showing what's behind the form.
